I have been meaning to start a blog for a long time. Just never got it together to the point where I had enough justification for it. Also, major reservations about the merging of public and private life. Well, the times they are a-changing, and being more social now requires many more electronic facets than it did growing up.

Hopefully this technology phenomenon will continue to transition more and more rapidly to the point when the paradigm will shift into its natural reversal, the pendulum motion being a universal pattern in historical events. Natural reversal seems even more appropriate a descriptor than originally anticipated, as it also connotes a transition to more inclusiveness of the natural world, without which the human species is unlikely to survive.

This would be a welcome change in a world with so much at stake, with animal and plant species becoming extinct by the hundreds or possibly thousands, waters and land and sky so polluted it chokes the beings who dwell there, and scarcely a corner of the globe not being effected by shifting climates.

America is to me an excuse. A sad excuse. The corporations that began here with innovation, scientific breakthroughs, and commitment to freedom and equality have sunk to the lowest depressing depths at the bid of the unchecked "free market," an economic system built upon policies with false pretenses and cheap window dressing to cover the reality which I believe is much more bleak than I could describe here without offending someone.

The excuse is that we have paid for it, which is a lie. America is no more than a fictitious beast, much like the hydra, were you to cut off one head you would see three more rise in its place. The beast is out of control, and the reason things are not changing is because we paid for it, its ours, right? We paid for our own toppling Babylon with death and disease and misplaced power and mind games.

Those who speak about these things are often chastised, and removed in one way or another from the society (which is another very effective strategy for maintaining power), similar to the occurrences of disappearing persons throughout history from Czech Republic to South Africa. And it is still happening around the world. It may continue to.

So, why American Beauty, you ask? Because there are many who are waking up and becoming more vocal, using the internet and technology for the human connection we all crave. America is poised at the precipice of being the determining factor for all human life on Earth, not because we have the most military power, but the most advanced women on the planet. I believe the moment has come for men to join in placing the final keystone in place in the passageway to our salvation, through beauty, truth, justice, and the feminine.

Femininity is the energy of creation and sustenance. Care and compassion flow from the gentleness that the feminine embodies. A true mother knows the ins and outs of being a guide, a nurturer, a challenger, and a refuge for others. These qualities are not just available to women and I believe the world will be better for it if men adopt them immediately and begin cultivating this attitude and way of being. I am practicing it myself. I sometimes fail and become the asshole. We all do. What is important is I see it clearly and it drives me in a way that transcends work or play. The creation and pursuit of these things is my life.

American Beauty is the availability of this divine combination of masculine and feminine that is available anywhere, being channeled through men and women who have the power to change the rest of the world through dialogue, and by directly influencing others' perspectives and life choices.

If this rings true for you, let me know below. This is more about starting a dialogue than it is about me trying to show off for you. I am here to serve and the more we group our energies into making this transition together, the easier it will be for everyone. Namaste. Om Mani Padme Hum.
